Jay Hughes founded PressOn LLC and OneMoreLoan in 2012 after investing 22 years in the Mortgage, Real Estate, and Coaching Industries. Jay was highly successful as a Loan Originator, Sales Manager, and Executive Leader; he now uses that street-level knowledge to help his Clients grow and reach their full potential…quickly.

In 1994, Jay graduated from Northwest Nazarene University, majoring in Business/Marketing, and then transitioned into the world of Banking and Finance. In 1995, he began originating Residential Mortgage Loans for a local Lender and was their Top Producing Loan Originator for Five Consecutive Years.

In 1999, Jay joined the Wholesale Division of Countrywide Home Loans as a Subprime Executive, and then was later promoted to a multi-state Branch Manager position in 2002. Jay and his team achieved recognition as one of the Top Ten Wholesale Branches Nationally, setting a production record of 1,400 closed Mortgage Transactions in a single month. In 2004, Jay joined First Horizon National Corporation, where his team grew that territory’s existing Loan Volume by over 400%.

Jay received his initial training as an Executive Coach in 2006, and in 2007 was named the MLHL Circle of Excellence – Rookie Coach of the Year. Jay coached Retail and Wholesale Sales Executives, as well as Branch/District Managers, from 2006 to 2009.

Jay is a Certified Facilitator in the Relationship Awareness Theory and Strength Deployment Inventory (SDI) Instrument. Jay uses the SDI with his Private Coaching Clients to assist in the crucial areas of Leadership Development, Motivational Selling, Employee Engagement, Priority Management, Strategic Vision, Emotional Intelligence, and Branch/Team Culture.

Jay has been married to his wife Heather for 21 years, and they are raising their 5 children in Boise Idaho. Jay is a co-founder of the Idaho Elite Basketball Club, a program that impacts over 200 youths in the Treasure Valley each year. Jay is also the Assistant Varsity Coach for the Boys Basketball Program at The Ambrose School. Additionally, Jay is an active Member serving in leadership at Faith Community Bible Church, and volunteers his time with other para-church ministries in Boise.
